Raised in Watts, California, I grew up in a single parent home most of my adolescence. I was a bright “latch-key” kid who was skipped twice and graduated from high school at just 16 years old. As a young child, I watched my very strong mother work hard to take care of me and make ends meet.That experience, I think, led me to pray for a husband, because I knew I wanted what I didn’t have.
My Journey To God’s Word
I was not raised in church, so I did a lot of things and made quite a few mistakes that I might not have made had I known God’s Word earlier in life.
But when I was in Junior High, I was led to Christ by a friend, after school one day. That was the beginning of my journey toward destiny…although it took a lot of turns and twists along the way.
Today, I enjoy taking long walks or working out at the gym, posting reels & teaching on social media, and watching period dramas on the weekend (anything by Jane Austen).
I believe it’s God’s calling that He would use me in sharing some of my experiences, and how he has helped me to be victorious in my marriage, in believing to have my children, and to help you to see past your present state of mind or circumstances, and take hold of every blessing that He has for your life. God is able! (Ephesians 3:20)
