A book launch team is a group of energetic, resourceful, and creative folks, with one mission in mind: To help a newly released book be as successful as possible! What would success consist of for a newly released book? Making tons of people aware of the book’s upcoming release, who are in the book’s target audience.
Marriage Glue’s target audience is:
Christian wives who are unhappy in their marriage, the romance is missing, or they feel discouraged and want to give up. They may be part of Facebook groups for Christian wives, prayer groups, marriage book clubs, and married couples’ groups, or attend women’s ministry events and marriage conferences.
What is a Book Launch Team?
Why would someone want to be a part of a launch team?
Because they know that it’s a “God project”, and they want to be in on what God is doing. We all know that Christian marriages are under attack, with all of the sin that is so prevalent in today’s society. And most Christians understand that families and godly couples are so important in the Body of Christ!
What are some benefits of being a launch team member?
Weekly prize of free swag for the team member with the most likes and shares of their social media posts.
Backstage pass and free access to my speaking engagements (limit of two team members).
Acknowledgment of your successful efforts on Instagram and Facebook, and pitch your business, if you have one.
If you’re up for the challenge, I would be thrilled to have you apply!🙏🏽It’s going to be a lot of fun! Why is there an application? While I know it’s going to be an exciting experience, it’s also going to require a good amount of effort too, on your part. (But I am also going to be rolling up my sleeves right alongside you, as well.)
Here are the requirements for joining the team. Each member of the launch team will be expected to:
Be creative/ knowledgeable, and committed to contributing a medium to a high level of skill or connections to the team (Good with social media, or have contacts with successful podcasts, securing speaking engagements, bookstores, etc.)
Purchase the book
Read at least a few chapters of the book (right away)
Leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, and other sites
Share the book with your social media following/ platforms
Brainstorm with the author and other team members about giveaways, swag, and other fun activities, in addition to possible locations for the book launch.
